I haven't seen too many MIJ kits in Red Onyx. The typical wraps were sparkles and marine pearl. Lots of exceptions, though! Jonnistix will certainly know more about this!

Wayne,The finish could be from 1966 to about 1972..Yes it is a rare finish to fine on a M.I.J. set...Hope that the set is complete as far as the drums because fineing a missing drum will take alot of time...Mikey

Wayne, what are they asking for the set? I would say if the set's in good condition and complete i would pay from 200.00-300.00 because of the finish...Mikey

I paid 150,but i got a set of New Beat 60,s hats and a Stewart 60,s [Star] COS snare in excellent condition with the kit,AND a few pieces of crappy hardware thrown in.
