I'm in no way an expert but from the pictures it looks like those were stained that green color on top of the wood. Maybe someone took off the wrap, sanded it down, and stained it? It doesn't really look like a wrap to my eyes (unless the camera is playing tricks). But like I said, I'm not an expert on these things.

Vinny, The set is a refinish set Slingerland never had a green stain finish.A give away that the set has been refinish look at the mounted toms the chrome rings are missing at the bottom of the drums..At that price it's a good deal if i was you i would buy them...Mikey
