I don't know that Pearl made green shells. Sounds more like Fibes or Blaemire, maybe some other small indie from the 70s or 80s. There were a lot of them that used f/g and many used green glass as it was a good, sturdy base to use and was cheap.

I don't re-call Pearl ever useing a green fiberglass in the shells..The only two color's i know of is like a brown/tan color on all fiberglass shells..And a white color net looking f/g on the wood/fiberglass shells...Mikey

Pearl never had a green FG resin formulation. Neither did Fibes. An old Vibrafibed kit perhaps, or possibly even a homebrew job, because FG resin out of the can that is commonly available in auto parts chains is bluish-green.

+1. The only green fiberglass drum shells I know of are the Blaemires. Does it look something like this shell? Also, Allen Blaemire would seal in one of his tags on the inside of the shell, anything like that that you can see on yours?
