$3800 and reserve still not met !!

apparently, the guy who bid 10,000 is going to modify the bass into a pedal car, so he can ride to gigs in it . he figured out that in 30-50 years, he will get his money back in cab fare.-----the seller does have the missing hi-hat feet by the way.

Nice drums - very cool!

Hmmm.....$10,000

I may re-visit my old asking-price of $10,000 ($7 ,000 now) for my Valje's. $10,000 does not seem like too much after seeing how this went.

I hope I'm not insulting anyone by comparing my conga drums to these very nice Trixon drums. That's not my intent.

That is a way cool looking kit...but, in unplayed condition, what do you do with it...find a place to display it? It belongs in a drum museum behind protective glass of some sort, kind of like the animals (dead) at the Museum of Natural History!

I love the bass drum!Cool1

I was just posting the info for the site. David doesn't like it when we discuss an eBay thingy and not put the info and pics here. I figured I'd just post the sale details for site completeness.

OMG..That is a sad story mate, and just as you were a day away from sealing the deal..,They ended up just like the attempt to rebuild a Trixon production factory but that caught fire in 1998 and destroyed all the original inventry!!!

i only read novels that are true.

They were the truest they could get - that was the cool thing about Lem, that he knew what he was talking about and used up-to-date technological knowledge.
