Here we go again..About 5.5 month's ago i sent a member some parts emailed tracking number too they are in Canada. Then they ask me about 5 weeks ago were are me part's?I emailed them back said that i sent them out months ago.they went to Pay=pal but they would not give a refund said they waited to long to ask over 90 days..The member again ask me for a tracking number i said i did not have it anymore i only keep tracking numbers for 2 months sometime three with all the shipping i do..So what would you guy's do about this?..Just refund the money? or like i told them next time i get these parts in i would re-send them out for Free? The thing that get's me is who's to say they did not get the parts and just want more of them...Mikey
What to do???
Can you go to your shipping history online and find the tracking number? I'd try to verify the first shipment. It may take a bit on your part, but it would be worth it...

Thanks Latzanimal,I don't know i shipped the parts out with the post office.I will try that and see if i can fine it...Mikey
Well, the member expecting the parts should know the tracking number and should have been in touch with you a helluva lot sooner than 5 1/2 monthes.
Hope it works out, it's hard enough getting parts shipped up here as it is sometimes.
Look in your sent email in Yahoo. Mike, use the search function in your email, search for the email address you used to send the info. It should still be there unless you clean out your "Sent" items, which I never do. Yahoo is pretty good about keeping up with emails from the past.

Hey Mikey......this is a multi-layered response. First off, do not be discouraged by dealing with Canadians. We are not all flakes. I realize sometimes shipping is a bit slower and more involved to Canada. In all of my many, many transactions I have never had a problem. If something takes a day over two weeks for shipment, I am on it daily. Checking everyday with the post, the seller and so on until it arrives. This clown responded months later? That's his problem! I would actually be wary of his intent......

Hey Jonnistix i would if i could but i clean out the sent box every 45 days with all the emails i send out per a day on parts no way i can keep them all...Mikey
Yahoo doesn't limit your space anymore. I have over 3000 in my Yahoo sent box now. I am not sure if they automatically dump after a certain amount of time o=r not, but it may be getting to the point where we as sellers are going to have to keep those emails for much longer than 45 days. It may be time to set up a file on your desktop where all sales emails are placed. Hate doing all that, but iot is getting to that point that we need to keep them so a buyer can't go back on us and say we didn't do our part.
