Can you tell anything form just these photos OR should i wait until i pick them up, clean them up some, and post other pics? JUst in case your wondering, I am NOT just buying this to try and profit... i'm an honest to goodness rock drummer trying to get into vintage intsruments.

Better photos of the drums would help..When taking photos take some of the inside of the shells..That will tell me alot about what type of shells you have...Mikey

I have a 2005 all chrome Pearl fusion kit (birch) and just got a REALLY great deal (try 230.00!) on an OCDP black/ white strata bass wood set. Have'nt even taken the OCDP out of the plasic bags it came in as i just have them in cases. The Pearl is my main kit and i use a Morgan Rose Signature snare with it.

Hi Chagus! Pleased to meet you and welcome to the forum. That looks like a sweet wrap, and if you got the whole kit, that is indeed a fine deal for $150.00. You bet it's worth fixing, these MIJ kits are fascinating to look at. Some of them may sound a bit funky but the wraps are far too cool. Even if you just clean it up for re-sale, you've saved a bit of history. Please do take gobs of pix when the kit gets in your hands. Post them here and you'll get tons of help restoring them. After you've finished the restoration, post the pix of the complete kit. Mikey is an amazing source for parts and knowledge. Like others here, I play American kits, but these darn MIJ drums are just far too much fun.

Good find!
