Oh yeah! Well I know the STUCKEY family. They used to sell the finest Chinese made Native Indian Tom-Tom drums in the South. I know what really went down with the Great Pecan Log Delivery snafu. Man, the stories I could tell ...
something i've been wondering..
Actually, no. That title belongs to Evan Macenthorpe out of Toad Suck, AR. He participated in that Berkley study back in 79. They figured out a method for quantifying talent and applied the variables to the drummer. It was a massive study that ran for about three years. Every stick swinger known and unknown was fed into the calculations. Evan took it by a margin of 0.00783 percentage points. It is updated every seven years. Evan still holds the title. For the record, Ringo lost out in the second round of computations. He was beat out by Sister Francine Guanimire, the drumming nun.
Roger,..

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Great qoute!!I'm lucky to know the Starky family. I know what went down. Ringo can play.
Yeah man, Ringo was pretty good in my opinion. Was he Ginger Baker? No! He was just a Beatle. He completed them. Maybe Keltner could have been a Beatle? Ringo made the others realize that they could take themselves too seriously until they actually did take themselves too seriously. All that aside, no one could have replaced Ringo because then it would not have been the Beatles. Ok, and now I will step down off my soapbox and go back to my mp3 alphabetizing.
