70s Slingerland hardware for sale

Loading...

I thought I got a great deal on these slingerlands 'till I started taking them apart. All the shells were delaminating, cracking, layers lifting, total junk (too bad, since it was WMP). I pulled all the hardware, some of it's OK, most are pretty pitted. The good parts are: 5 badges, a single mount Set-O-Matic (pretty nice, actually), and 3 floor tom legs w/ mounts (small pits, but they shine), straight bass drum legs + mounts (small pits, but they shine). 4 mufflers, stick chopper hoops -one each12,13,14,16 (pretty pitted), 10 claws +bass T rods (once again, pretty pitted), 10,000 lugs-t rods-lug screws, silver inlay 22 hoop (easily fixed crack).Email me for prices, I would sell the whole lot. could you post pics of the shells? please show the damage your describing. also post it in the restoration section so it will be seen and discussed by the forum if you will. slingerland almost all slingerlands have this problem due to the hide glue drying out and turning to dust. it's an easy fix if you've done it a few times, I've lost count how many times I've performed this repair.

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

It's hard to get any damage to show up in a photo. It's cool that these shells could possibly be fixed. I hate to see any peice of history lost. The shells are WMP spray painted white, along with the insides. The resonant bearing edges are beat up from years of no bottom heads. If you want these shells you could have them for postage +$30.
