SOLD!!!For Sale is the following drum set, I'm looking to get $175.00 O.B.O. plus shipping from California.
Here's what I know for fact. I bought this kit with cymbals (long gone) and a Gretsch Max Roach Snare (long gone also) almost 2 years ago. I had never seen or heard of these drums until I posted and got this reply.
The kit consists of a 18" x 14" bass drum with 8 lugs on each side, 12" x 8" tom with 6 lugs per side and a 14" x 14" floor tom with 8 lugs per side. The kit is made of mahogany (looks to be 9-ply) and the shell are in very good shape. The tom mount is kind of "different" but it works good. Regular Remo Ambassadors are very tight on the tom and floor tom, the shells are all in good shape with good edges. You might need to replace one of the bass drum hoops, I repaired it because it cracked (see pictures)
The wrap is in very good shape on the drums, needs general cleaning and some of the seams are starting to lift and need to be re glued. It looks as though someone added a different type of bass drum leg mount, as there is extra holes next to the existing that are patched. There is a piece of metal on the bottom of the bass drum hoop that is for a pedal to clamp to.
All the hardware looks to be imported and is in very good shape and all threads are in good shape and work correctly
I had never heard of this brand and was looking for a little bop kit and this fit the bill until I got my Slingerland Jet. According to the person I got them from, he said the original owner had them custom made from a drum shop in Orange County and he had the original bill, but lost it while moving this kit, he said they were bought in the mid-70's.
