Ludwig 63 Black Oyster Pearl Set

Loading...

Your profile blurb says you're in LA... I'm like four to five hours north... That is just an old funky set of drums... that means they are not worth all that much. But, I like ya, so tell ya what. I'll be down there by seven tonight and give you fifty samolians, cash money... green backs. Yep, two twenty's and a ten... Since I'm so nice I won't even charge you gas money.

Where else you going to get a deal like that!

I would ask $250 for this set including cymbals if I was you. Its not a very desirable finish, configuration, or year. If you need a buyer let me know. Im interested.

So Babs was the real deal?

At the time there seemed to be more than a few "single" posts from women that were selling kits for their husband. With stories of many sketchy deals it just leads one to the suspic... errr... cautious side.

So hows the kit working out for a fella' ?

How much did you pick them up for (if I may be so bold)?

Yep, they were the real deal. I think I paid 5K, and resold them last August. I don't think I've ever had a set sell so fast...they went to a collector in Japan.

You can see them here: http://www.classicvintagedrums.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=93&products_id=885

Thanks,

Bill

Hi guys,

I'm interested in purchasing a Ludwig 63 oyster black downbeat kit with matching 5 1/2 x 14 snare just like fishing expadition had . Unfortunately the wife gave the OK to late.

I'm still looking. So, if anyone has one, please contact me.
