Ludwig 63 Black Oyster Pearl Set

Loading...

Hi,

Need help! My husband said I could sell his 1960's pre-serial number Ludwig Black Oyster Pearl complete set if I could get a good price. It's in excellent condition. Any advise on pricing and how to advertise it would be greatly appreciated.

Killer little kit you have here, List the sizes, I know the bass drum is a 20" list all that will come with the kit, take Interior shots of all the drums, especially the snare drum which looks like a model 400 ludwig supraphonic, list all hardware and cymbals that will sale with the kit.

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

Sweet little set you have..I think the drum size's are 14x20 bass, 8x12 mounted tom,14x14 floor tom snare 5x14...now for the questions is the snare chrome or does it match the set? vintage cymbals? the one on the bass looks like a 70's zild.cymbal...All the hard-ware looks to be original to the set..photo's of the inside of shells, any extra holes or mod's to the set??..Any of this info. would give me a better price range to tell you.....Mikey

Well, you know it's a pre-serial and the color (Oyster Black Pearl). It looks too perfect for it to be just a player. My guess is you or your husband know plenty of the details of this kit. You obviously know about posing a kit properly. So, use that knowledge to put your text together and to post pics. Considering what you did mention and what I can see in your pic, I believe you are more aware of the details and desirability of this particular kit than is brought to the table. You are testing the waters here for some reason that I'm not privy to. I wish you good luck and hope your dealings are all cool.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Wonder if Babs and Donalyn know each other....

From Donalyn Goodloe

My husband is thinking about putting his 1968 Ludwig blue pearl drums up for sale they are used (of course). I believe he said 4 pieces no stands but they still look and sound good. He has been playing on a set of Tama drums for awhile but he wants a set of Gretsch drums like Stephanie Eulinberg (kid Rocks Drummer). What I need to know is how much we should ask for his vintage drums??
