wow what a fab video,thanx for posting it and yeah love the trixon kit on it too..

It is a trixon luxus early 60's with the teardrop lugs.

Hi, i would say the rack tom is early 60's as it has the teardrop lugs.

fantastic wrap, but you could convert back to a tom as you can still get the parts.

not sure on cost but Ingo is the guy you need to speak to,as he runs the trixon website www.trixondrums.de

He is very knowledgeable and will be able to help you futher.

You know what, those "conical" Trixons have gotta be the COOLEST Drums ever. They are like when an architect designs a building that is visually striking.

Someday, I'm gonna have a set of those in a cool color!!!

thanks for your help. i took it apart the other night and polished it and tried to clean it up. i found out the floor tom mounts are rogers. i guess i'll sell them, but it came out nice i am not sure what i am going to do with 1 tom. i really dont want to put any money into it. but i dont know. i have a bunch of other stuff i am working on. i would like to keep it, but i have very little use for it. i am glad, I had guys like you to help me research this thing, now i dont know what i am going to do with it.....:confused:

when you look inside the shell did it have a number, that would say the year but sure it is 62-63 but will confirm shortly.

a matching wrap that I have been after ever since i first posted this Telstar onto this forum..

Not the elusive Conical 1/440k model but comes a close second..who knows what 2012 will bring!!!
