around 15 years ago,I grabbed a set of Telstars out of the local paper for $75!

Didn't have matching snare though.........recall it having a Acro..,but too long ago to be sure............

They were in nice shape.............

Hey Diamond.

Congrats!!

AWESOME. You look at those Trixon Drums and it screams "60s Go Go". I badly want a set of those. The way the cymbal arm is at an angle is WAY cool....

Want to see a set 1960s Trixons in Action? Check this out.....and how cool it is!!:

Too long to remember all the details............

It wasn't a Croco,I know that much........

I flipped them to a guy in Florida the same day I got them for $700, so I did OK for the time...........he used to buy lots of vintage stuff from me,and I knew he liked Trixon's,so I called him right away!

His name is Kevin White, and lived in Hollywood,FLA.....if you can track him down! Bought a vintage 50's-60's TV from me too!

I remember when I called on them,I asked the lady if they tapered at all......she went to look, came back, and said......"yes,they DO taper".........I said..."I'm on my way"!

LandenLarry:

I love that finish! Amati made drums in that finish too, but they are scarce and usually from their later series, wich did not sound very good.

Sorry 'bout those FT mounts...
