Almost Restored Slings

I have these drums almost finished. I got the leg brackets and legs and t-rods today. Started putting it altogether. The Legs were to fat to fit through the bracket hole. So I will need the thinner legs. Does this mean I have the wrong brackets also or vice versa?

I am having trouble reading the serial numbers chart. If you can help me out I would appreciate it.

22" 131757

16" 183855

13" 183820

12" 183864

Threw some pics up as well. Thanks everyone!

That's interesting. The thinner brackets had the wings facing the audience. The thicker ones had the wings on the sides, like yours.

Eric,

as I told you when you were here a few weeks ago......

by the time of your double tom kit,(circa 65-66) the spurs would be the larger ones.......

in the early 60's,they used the thinner ones>(which I happened to find a pair since you were here!)

Thanks Blair!

I couldn't recall which was which as you had told me! Thanks again! I was thinking this kit was like a '69 "New Rock Kit" with the 22" upgrade.

I thought you told me you had the aluminum mounts on your toms/BD plate, which would be earlier then 68-69. Thats why I said 65-66.

They would be chrome over steel by 68-69.

OK....tom plates/mount itself is aluminum,BD plate is chrome......

so,transition kit? Or,did someone switch some parts?

Maybe the BD plate stripped out,and they put a newer one on?
