Sorry to the Moderators - I posted this in the General Conversation thread area by mistake.........

A complete set of Valje drums

$7500.

Some history:

Four drums - Quinto, Conga, Tumba, SuperTumba & matching bongos made in L.A. at master drum builder Tom Flores' shop. They're Red Oak 1/4 sawn stave built. I bought them new in 1977. The SuperTumba was a special order at that time.

Kona those are just to die for. The ST must have cost a fortune. Nothing sounds like Tom's drums.

Yes - they are beauties & if I end up selling them it will be a very big part of my drumming history gone from my life. They are sweet sounding drums.

But....I have to down-size and make some tough choices. I have a beautiful collection on Gretsch drums too. I also would love a NEW Custom USA Gretsch shell pack to complete the picture........so.......ya makes your choices and ya lives with them.

UPDATE:

I see I had the drums listed for $6200 but I have them listed for $7500 on CL. It was an error here..........getting old you know. I would honour the lower price and I'm open to offers.
