Rogers Wood Dyna-Sonic and COB Powertone for sale.

Loading...

I have a Dyna-Sonic Custom Built (wood) S.N. 3660, and a Powertone COB S.N. 17047 I am interested in selling for the right price.

Both are in relatively decent condition. There is some pitting/rust, and maybe a tension rod or two missing. Most importantly, the dyna does not have the snare frame. Both drums do have the muffler. I welcome any questions or offers!

Name a price on the Dyna. It looks like it needs some restoration work. If I am not mistaken, those are tall hoops. The number puts it about mid 64. The Elongated puts it closer into 65. Appears to me missing the guards and the rail, and is quite yellowed. What have you got in mind?

Those are tall boys. Judging by the fruitwood interior and serial number...this was made right after the change over from bread and butter lugs. The throw-off should be a blackface throw-off the "d" stamped. Then the snare rail with the black epoxy tips. Both of those parts alone (when can be found) are so much money. I bought a whole COB version just to get those parts to complete my wood dyna. Still a hella of a drum though.

I would hate to burn the bucks on the needed parts and .....create another parts drum. The drum gods wouldnt be happy.
