I have not found anything so I did it myself. I'm looking for some day the original. ...

Guess that 'Mikey777' is the only member who might still have such a thing.

Very nice set! What is the asking price? That shell mount cymbal holder is wicked, never seen one like that!

Yeah, I only had the mount when I got the kit. Mikey777 did indeed have the rest of the 'insanity'. Just look at that thing! Indeed designed by drunk weasels.

The kit is on consignment at Bentley's Drum Shop in Fresno (find a link in my sig). I think he's asking $450 or a bit less (if you're really interested, negotiate that). Yeah, I'd never seen a cymbal mount like that that I remember. I wasn't looking at MIJ kits at that time though. I must say that there is as much metal in that bass mounted cymbal holder as is in cars nowadays. The kit does not include the ride cymbal or the snare stand shown in the pictures. Just the drums or shell pack.

Some time ago we had a discussion here about that curious cymbal mount:

Thanks Ralf, yeah, I'd seen that when I was researching the kit originally. My first thought is still my contention... That cymbal mount was designed by drunken rodents, had to be. No one in their right mind would spend so much time on something that had been done so much less expensive and worked just as well (I guess, kinda). The drunken weasel mount (we should name it that) does give you another axis to position the cymbal, but still...

...drunken weasels, indeed....I thought Germans were the only ones that over-engineered stuff like this....and I'm German...stupid weasels.

Hmmm... for some reason the old saying 'weasels in the hen house' comes to mind...

Couldn't tell you why. Hmmmm
