US Mercury - 2 Ply Shells?

Loading...

I can't recall the amount of plies or whether it had re-rings, or even the color. I got that tom with a Gretsch set and looked at it long enough to pack it and send it to the person I sold it to.

I do seem to recall that the buyer said he had a KENT snare that the floor tom matched, which is why he bought mine. So that wrap or a similar wrap may have been used by more than one company.

Sorry I can't answer your question re the missing badges. I only really know Ludwig and Gretsch.

I DO remember this one and it was a 6 ply tom, no re-rings...I almost bought it. The wrap was a Star exclusive and was used, by Kent, in the final days of their MIJ run. The color is called FANTASIA.....seen here> > > http://www.tamadrum.co.jp/anniversary/expansion.php?cat_id=8&now=36

Some very cool finishes in there. I'd love to see Lava Pearl.

Thanks for the welcome back. Never really left -- just don't like to post too much since it can be a jungle here. Sorry you didn't get that drum but I know where it is, along with that Kent snare. (THanks for clarifying that history as well).
