And I'll bet you had it tensioned up perfectly just prior to noticing missing the muff. Man, that would drive me insane. all that work ... wasted. Ugh

You know it !

And I had the clear reso head on the batter side, and the batter on the reso....dang it!

I said screw the muffler.... I don't use them anyway.

This outfit will be for sale soon, I may put one in then.

I didn't even notice the flipped heads. I mounted mine like that once 'cause I read where Krupa liked to put a little muffle on the reso head. Check out his later kits. You will see some shots of the muff on the bottom side. I just couldn't bring myself to like it. Swapped it back.

BR was the same way.... I think.....

Working on the bass today.

It's funny, I thought I had a candidate for the FT a couple of times already, but the one I got two weeks ago, supposedly a candidate for a re-wrap, was in great condition, and matched my 22/12/14 deep blue Slingy set... so now it has a 16 sitting with it.

And the sixties BDP 16 floor I got last week, supposedly in the same condition, was, again, in fine shape, and was actually a 14 inch! It's sitting with the 20/13/16 BDP outfit I got from VTM2000 a while back now.

So, I'm waiting for another candidate to arrive as we speak.

Hope it's trashed...........LOL !!

C'mon, you meant to do that. It's part of the mock-up process, right?

Bummer! Getting a 14 by 14,when you were expecting a 16 by 16....

Don't you hate when that happens?
