Talked to the seller on the phone and got both at once for a decent price so he pulled the auctions. Board member here ludwigvondrummer got another similar 15" off him when he had it listed a few weeks ago. The original set he got them from was so weird. Here's the story on what he learned.....
The Ebay seller does a lot of drum business and that Black Panther set he got was from a local high school. He was told the band director (back in the '70s) wanted a set with "big sound" so this is the set the guy ordered for the school directly from Ludwig... and all the rack toms installed with '70s Pearl tom mounts by the Ludwig factory... that's what the guy wanted for some reason.
Anyway, here was the drum set the band director ordered in Black Panther:
Two- 10x14" toms
Four- 12x15" toms
16x18" floor tom
32" bass drum (yes, you read that right)
8" deep snare
Weird setup, like I mentioned, huh? No, the Ebay guy doesn't have the bass or snare, I already checked.

Did that guy ever list the 16x18 floor tom? I never saw it.....or an 8" concert tom,LOL.
