I'll go with that after going through the catalog pages.....the 73N Jam Session.....it's in the catalogs from 1963-1971. Someone probably upgraded to a rail mount when they ordered the kit instead of opting for the old clipper mount......I'm sure some of the slingy guys out there can narrow down the year a bit better than I can for you....

Check inside the shell, if they are clear there is probably a date stamped.

Inside the snare its stamped MAY 65. The serial number on the snare is #63218. The bass serial is #169045 and the 12" is #162543.

Judging by the serial number chart and the serial numbers you provided....I'd say the tom and bass are somewhere between 1967 and 1969?

Nothing that I can see is missing other than if it came with a cowbell or any of that stuff. I put everything I got with it in the pics. I hadn't ever saw a foot pedal like that one but I think its pretty cool as far as the way it sets up. How are they playability wise? This set is going to clean up so nice! I almost think it will look new. The snare hoops are a little "spotty" like they are about to turn to pitting. Does that make sense? Anyway I got to them just in time to clean them up before they got to far! Thanks again guys!

I looked inside the bass drum and tom today. I was surprised the inside looks like it has been painted a skin tone color. The bass drum had no stamp date on it. The tom only had a P stamped in it with no date. Is this normal?

I played my kit today, and it's my favorite. I love the sound on those drums !
