Wow...I've only seen one Hollywood Citrus Mod kit on eBay in the past 5+ years. Rare? You bet! Todd Trent, former owner of Ontario Music in southern California has a Citrus Mod kit, but I don't recall if it's a Hollywood or Superclassic. I'm not quite sure if it's available for sale, though. If it was, I would think it would be in excess of $3000! Best of luck with your search!

Post pictures if you do find it! The posted three pictures are from eBay, 2003. This was the last time I saw a really nice Citrus Mod kit being offered for sale!

hello - a friend of mine bought a keystone citrus mod set a year or so ago. let's just say it was several ''k'' more than $3000! seriously, if you even find one, the price will BLOW you away. good luck with your search. my buddy wants a matching jazzfest and figures it could cost as much as the set.

Hi Fish! I'm wondering if Todd took the kit home with him. I believe they were in some ATA Flight cases in the back storage room. Todd had shown them to me and I was amazed how good they still looked!

I'm posting some pictures downloaded from the BAY some time ago. This is an original 70's Jazz Festival in Citrus Mod. I'm not sure if it sold!

Ok, I download way too many pictures of drums...but it looks like they come in handy from time to time! What you see here is a custom-built Jazz Festival by Jack Lawton. This was on the BAY around July, 2006. Jack got the wrap from a concert bass drum wrapped in Black Panther. He found the Citrus Mod under the Black Panther. The shell was cut down from a 10x14 marching drum and the top reinforcing hoop removed and applied to the bottom section. Jack had to put two pieces of Citrus Mod wrap on the drum, but you could hardly tell! Just wanted to share this with everyone!

66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
