Does anyone know anything about "Ideal Drums", I'm looking at a kit from the 1960's. The only thing I've found is they're are a Japanese brand...is this true?...are they a decent kit? or is this a low end entry kit? Thanks for your help!!!!

Show me the link, I'll let you how they are. If this is the C/L ad from up north, red spark with no bottom hoops and one blue tom, no hoop, they are not worth the asking, IMHO.

They are what they are, but these are in really good condition and looks like a Speed King, some decent pies and all. I would say they look like Star from what I can see. A close up of the snare, strainer and bass lugs would help me to tell what they are. An entry level to be sure, but these can really be made, with a little work, to be decent little lightweight giggers.

I would say 150ish, maybe a little more if the pies are nice.
