Oldest drum company?
Not sure about the oldest US drum company but the oldest drum company worldwide is Sonor.

Sonor drums from that era were made in Germany, not England. Christian is correct that "New Era" was a line of student oriented drums from Premier....

The quick disconnect lever is kind of similar in concept to older Sonor stands. I'd say it's either European 60s or 70s or a Japanese knock off.
