    Hello!
Indeed. Well, you know it's almost ALWAYS those two crazy Texans! .. JR and leedy. Nice thing on your thread was, I was able to maintain continuity throughout the thread after the edits, er, weeding! <smile> My pleasure, and ... I am on here many times a day, I just keep a very low profile and go about the business of trying to keep our nice vintage drum forum exactly that ... nice! Which truth be told, it is! I appreciate the message and kind words. BEST!!!

Sorry, but not up on cymbal IDs. I would post a picture on the forum. Or try www.cymbalholic.com website for real experts.

Amosguy, Hope you are well. Haven't done much posting lately...too much work...not enough time. Would appreciate your opinion re: a Z cymbal I just bought on ebay. Cymbal advertised as a "40's Transition stamp" 16" thin crash. Received it today, and it looks good and has nice sound. Just below the Z stamp the term "U.S.N. 16" M" is stamped. Have never seen marking like that and would like to know your thoughts. Will be happy to send you a picture if you tell me how to do it. Take care. Bill
