Hi Bob... I sent you a response that didn't seem to got through. Here it goes again... Thanks for reaching out to me. Things are fine here. I'm glad that all is well for you and yours, too.

My drum collection is now down to five complete drum sets, one vintage cocktail set, a half dozen spare snare drums, a couple dozen vintage A Zildjians, and enough hardware for several drum sets--mostly vintage hardware.

That guy JohnnyRingo sure seems to be a putz. How dare anyone offer a comment that is only tangentially on the topic that he started? phuque him. He had the typical wrong-winger lack of intelligence to take a political jab at me because he sensed that I'm not one of his types. I fought the urge to respond in kind. But instead, I just reported his breach of forum policy to the admins.

DFO can also go to hell for not allowing me to sign in. This is my day for telling people to go phuque themselves.

Howie...Just checking in. Hope things are OK with you and the family. I have been busy as hell, still working 9-5 and playing gigs with three bands. Plus, we have a grandson who's going on four, and he's a joy. We love being grandparents. I know you went to bat for me on DFO and appreciate it very much, but I never heard a word from them, so I've given up the idea of getting back on there. I have been buying and selling MIJ sets lately, and as you may know, finally invested in a '67 Ludwig Burgundy Sparkle set two years ago that I like a lot. Those Ludwig Lemmings at DFO would get a kick out of me playing Ludwigs, I bet, although I still have my endorsement deal with DW, of course. I use the DWs with my Clapton tribute project. Last week, we had an outdoor gig and rain was a possibility, so I took my cheapo MIJ red sparkle MIJ set in case we got caught in a downpour, which happened several weeks ago at a Jersey Shore gig. What sets are you holding onto these days? Bob

I sent this to the owner of DFO: A while back, when the forum was under previous ownership, my friend Bob Cianci (Drum Bob) was kicked out of the forum. Bob is a very knowledgeable drummer and music journalist. He would like to rejoin DFO. I ask on his behalf that he can be permitted to rejoin. Please let me know if I can inform Bob that he may rejoin, and who he should contact for that.

    Thank you,

Bob...I hope that things are going well for you. Life is starting to calm down for us here at home. My wife has had a a hell of a year with health issues. She seems to be OK now. We hope that her surgeon and her oncologist both tell us in her December appointment that her prognosis is good. I've slowed down in my drum collecting hobby. But, I still try to check in to see what's going on in this forum and in DFO.
