Adding a Tom - Gretsch

Hello Everyone,

First time poster here!

I have a 60's 5 piece set: 14" chrome snare, 2 12" toms, 16" floor tom, and kick drum. It is a champagne sparkle. I was going to post some pics, but of course I can't find the camera right now. I should have some pics within the next day. I have one Avedis Ride/Crash cymbal, but I can't find the hi-hats.

I have owned the set for 23 years. However, I haven't played for 23 years. It was in my parent's attic for about 10 years and I just grabbed it a few weeks ago. I was hoping to get my son interested, but he would rather play Rock Band on his Wii instead. I am in the process of building a room for it, so I can play whenever I want. Also, I don't want anyone to hear me, since I am so out of sync. DOH

Anyway, I wanted to add another tom, but I am not sure which would be better or easier. I guess I could buy another floor tom, but what would be my options if I wanted a 13" or 14" tom. How would I mount it? Would I need a rack. I am asking because I am so out of touch with the hardware available now.

I am going to acquire Paragon cymbals, since I am a Neil Peart fan. Party

I am hoping to find out more info about my drums after I post some pics. I am curious to know what they are worth, but I don't think I could sell them.

It is in pretty good condition, just needs some minor cosmetic TLC. The heads are all mis-matched, which I'll replace real soon. It has a Ludwig Speed King pedal too.

I should be able to take some pics tonight.

No camera yet, which is scaring me. Wife can't find after we used it on New Years.

Anyway, according to this site, Vintage Drum Guide, I believe I have a 1964 Rock N Roll:

My hi-hat pedal says Floating Action though. Also, I have the 2 12" toms like the RNR. The Black Hawk looks similar, but the BH has two different size toms.

I ripped the heads off last night since I was bored and they were battered and mis-matched. They all have stickers inside, but the model numbers are only shown on two drums, but the serial numbers are all there. I think I am only missing a few rubber feet. Two from the hi-hat and a couple from the kick drum.
