Beautiful drums as always Mark. Love the shield initials on the head as well.

A real beauty and a bit of extra rare with the disappearing spurs. Most of the Downbeats had folding spurs. Are those transition badges?

I wish! No standard keystone badges. The bass drum & floor tom are dated April 26 1965 while the tom is dated May 26 1965. I suppose you probably could have ordered with the disappearing spurs as opposed to the gull wings by the mid 60's. I have 2 Superbeat kits (20/13/16) with dual tom mufflers & dual disappearing spurs on the kicks from same year so I bet anything was possible if you had the coin.
