I was playing tin drums with cardboard heads(child`s drums),when these drums were made...These 64`Camco Tuxedos are beautiful and in super condition from your pic.That wrap is killer!!!Wowser stuff Manny.

Very nice and very reminiscent of the age Manny. Overall, 1964 was a hot year for the US despite a painful prior year and others that would follow in its heels. This color is emblematic of that heat.

Funny that you refer to the child's drums Wayne. I think I got my first snare drum that year, which was a Howard (MIJ) in black wrap. A friend had the same in red sparkle and a cousin had it in black diamond pearl. My friend and I used to set up two as snare and tom, but without benefit of a bass drum at that juncture, and play to records in the basement.
