Hey Guys,
So I'm pretty new to vintage drums. I'm not a big drum gearhead, and I'm only 19.
So about a year ago I went to a friends house to jam, and the kit he had over there was pretty tossed together. Groove percussion cymbals, a busted snare drum as a rack tom and a 20 inch rogers bass drum that I fell in love with.
So now I just picked up this Slingerland 14x20" bass drum on ebay and am looking to build a kit around it. I of course wasn't around when Slingerland drums were in production, so I know very little about drum hardware from that era.
The drum is missing its legs, but the hardware is all intact. Can you tell what I will need as a replacement based on these pictures. Also included was a tom mount shaft. I was wondering if there was a way for me to mount a cymbal or rack tom on the drum, as that is the way my friend's Rogers Bass drum is set up.

Also can you guys tell me this drum's origin based on a serial number?

I'm not in a big hurry to mount anything on it right now. I'll probably just get a batter head and second hoop for it, and set it up as a 4 piece with the rack tom on a snare stand.
