This is a purpleheart snare with maple strips I did from a 8mm stave shell built by Koko / Signature Drums: 5.5x14". Finished with shellac. Stellar maple hoops with purpleheart inlay

Awesome and second-to-none outstanding snare drum.

Must say, that I've never seen something similar beautiful
