Default Duplex 1920 Snare

Hands down, the coolest snare I've ever seen! Sound bites?

I would love to let everyone hear it. All I have is a PC mic which makes everything sound like rocks in a trash can.

Do you think modern heads plastic and modern snare wires could be used on this drum???

It's an off size, so custom heads from Remo have to be ordered or cut and tuck calf heads for it. There are modern wires on it but with the weird size the standard 14 doesn't cut it. I'm going to tie natural gut on it or try and string extended wires on it. There's a Remo Legacy head on it now, which I was told is discontinued. If this head goes, I'd tuck a head for it. Right now the head works for me.
