I got it they went down to $200 it really nice. Just kidding I saw it and flipped my lid. I sent a email but I'm sure one of a few things happened. Someone got it for a total steal, turned into a local biding war, or someone sent a more honest offer and got it. Or maybe seller got hip that it was worth way more after fifty emails in five minutes and pulled the add.

It was a 23'-24" Ludwig deluxe model engraved snare. Gunmetal body, artgold hardware, missing a couple clips and rods but nice. HOWEVER, the seller said it belonged to his "unkl",might be "all gold,I dunno".Nobody is that stupid. I live in Chicago, and found the ad 12 minutes after it posted ! Had the $ in hand but didn't receive any response to "I'll take it" or receive a call. It is our general feeling that the seller was fishing for response,or the ad was a scam. Speaking of scams, today I informed Steve Ellis,(from PA.), that his beautiful Louie Belleson explosion kit (on ebay for $6000 ) was now posted on a California craigslist ad for $1800 ! Same pics, same description. Unfortunately, most of the time if it's too good to be true.............
