I have a 70's three ply granitone, pointy b/o badge 14x16 Ludwig concert tom in green sparkle and I am thinking I would trade it for a 16x16. It has small classic lugs and no legs. I am going to convert it to a double headed floor with legs. My problem is I am not sure I will like the smaller lugs and not sure if I want extra holes! Love the size though, those 14x16's are a great size!!
Thinking, not needy, just putting it out there. |

Like you, I'm just thinking. I have a generic 10x9 tom shell that I want to put Classic Ludwig lugs on to match a Ludwig set I play on. But I think the small classic lugs might look better on the smaller drum than the large 60's classic lugs I have. Would you be interested in some kind of trade, small for large? I would need 12 small lugs, and I have 14 large lugs. I am sure the old vintage 60's lugs are worth more than the small classic 70's lugs, but if you are interested, make me an offer.
