Default Engraved Snare Drums

This weekend I picked up a beautiful 1920ís Ludwig 10-lug Black Beauty piccolo snare engraved in the 12-point floral pattern from longtime friend and vintage drum collector Stephen Hillman that I want to share with everyone. It is an absolute beauty !

I got a real passion for engraved snares since I bought my first Leedy from Stephen a few years back, so I am also sharing the entire collection. . . . so far

Wow, that is a pretty collection! So much craftsmanship there. Do you play them at all, and how do they sound?

Funny how the tension rod hasn't changed in 100 years!
