They are probably Chinese made heads and Ludwig has some sort of advertising deal with Remo where their brand name is placed on the cheap heads.... my guess only as I don't know this for fact.

Olimpass- any update on how this kit plays/sounds etc?? I've been watching out for one of these at a used price..
