Hi All,
I'm home for the holidays and doing a bit of cleaning up/reorganizing. I have this 50's WFL snare, but am not sure how to narrow it down any further than I've already done using the WFL badge. There is no date on the inside of the shell. Thanks for any and all help. |

Your drum has been recovered not original and the strainer is a slingerland rapid strainer.

I concur with VM2K. Looks like a Slingerland sticksaver bottom hoop, too. Cool drum, though. Is it 6 lug? If so, then it would be a Pioneer.

55-57 badge. That particular model is shown in the '57 catalog as a 5 1/2 x14 Supreme Concert Model. Ludwig start calling them Pioneers just a short time later.
