Looks good Mark. Try for a bit more clarity in the photos. The kit deserves it. How do you like the big bass drum so far?

Thanks Dan, I took the pictures with my phone, that's why the pictures aren't the best. I love the sound and feel of 24" kicks, although they are a bit of a pain to transport to gigs.

Still hunting for the elusive Luxor in Blue Onyx and maybe one day a Butcher Block kit
Finally picked up the Luxor in Blue Onyx I have been looking for!
Once it arrives it will get the full clean and shine! Sorry for the bad picture.

Michael,

Very nice! So the goal is to have a Luxor in every finish?

Best of luck finding the stock Luxor rims for that one. What are those cast rims? Gretsch?

Mike

Hey Mike
Yes hoping to get the snares in at least the "cool" wraps. I love the onyx, strata and Pearl wraps. Have not seen any in the strata wraps ever. The cast rims came with it. I will have to do some hunting to get the stock rims.

Congrats on your blue onyx Luxor and good luck with your quest. You should be able to find the correct hoops pretty easily and bet someone out there would love to buy the Gretsch die cast hoops. Don’t underestimate some of the sparkles...
