Default Premier 1049 Marching drum

Hi, I have an old Premier 1049 marching drum with die cast hoops and I believe it dates back to the 1970's or 80's. On the inside of the shell it has a 2 figure number stamped....43

Does anyone know what significance this has if any please?

Thanks,
Jim

G'day Nivram99,
Got a picture? I doubt I can help you but I think we would like to see it!
