Are tension rods for 1950s WFL & 1930s-40s Slingerland interchangeable?

Thread size for 1950s WFL is 7/32-24.

That would be a 12-24. Fairly common size.

Thanks for confirming that. I found an online retailer that sells the size I need. Pretty inexpensive, but it's chrome. Too shiny. Don't want to buy something that I'll end up replacing anyway.

I have a few 14" 12-24 tension rods that I haven't used since I bought them eight years ago. I'll probably just cut those down and thread them. Save myself some money.
