Default Rogers Swivo swan leg stands and cymbals for newer Zildjian K’s
I have 3 x Rogers Swivo swan leg cymbal stands, a 1950s 16” Zildjian hi-hat bottom, a 1970s 21” Zildjian Rock Ride and a 1990s 16” Sabian HH med crash (links to Reverb listings below). Also available, though not listed on Reverb: Swivo bass pedal and Ludwig speed king bass pedal both from the 60s era.

I’m looking for:
1) 22” K Constantinople Renaissance Ride
2) 20” K Custom flat top ride
3) 19” K Sweet Crash
4) 17” K Sweet Crash

I'm curious about that 16" late 50s cymbal. In the picture from the top it looks like it has a flange (which would make it a flange model) yet in profile there isn't a flange showing. Is the flange in the top photo just a trick of the light and there isn't one there at all? Or is there a flange and for some reason the profile photos doesn't show it? The profile photo wouldn't happen to be the Sabian HH 16" from a slightly different angle?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Zenstat, thanks for your reply. While I do have a 14" Canadian Zildjian flange bottom (that I truly appreciate your advice on in a separate thread) this 16" hi hat bottom is just a trick of the light as you mentioned.

The side profile is for the same 16" 50's Zildjian, but to your point that's why I wanted to add that side shot because my camera flash made it seem as though it had a flange.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I've been tricked by a few photos which look like a flange is present. May I add you photos to my archive as an example of how the eye can be tricked please? Your 16" does have a lot of hammering showing at the outer edge which was another reason I was wondering.

Oh, and the reason I try and spot flanges in photos is that there is a Flange ride model and a Be Bop ride model, both of which had flanges. I hadn't ever seen one, but one finally showed up in Japan and I saved the images. 22" Trans Stamp type IV so early 1950s. Most people don't even know they exist.

Yes, this was decades before the Sabian Sound Control, which is the only ride with a flange which most people know about.

I would be honored to have one of my cymbals included in your guide, it’s such a phenomenal resource for data driven analysis... especially how you cut the data for the box and whisker plot graphs!
