Default My Ludwig kit Value

First off, I realize this kit is not worth anything near what a matching/all original kit is worth I would just like some opinions on the value as I may be selling them (I have 11 kits and need to sell one, lol)

The kit has been recovered because the wrap was bad on the toms and also to match the kick drum. The 3 toms (12, 14 & 16) are re-ring Blue/Olive drums. The kick is a 80's USA rocker drum with classic lugs to match. The snare is a generic / non matching snare. It has all of the stands (snare stand for rack tom), pedal and throne included. The hi-hats and ride are CB700 Italian stamped cymbals with a Krut 18" crash as well.

I am wondering what a good price would be to list these for.

Maybe try the sold listings on Ebay for an approximation on value but I can give my two cents.
The good: looks to be a nice players kit for a gigging drummer, chrome looks ok, and it's a complete kit with stands and cymbals.
The bad: It's been re-wrapped, doesn't look like the blue/olive badges are present on the toms, those cymbals aren't sought after (that I know of), and the drums don't "match" as in an original set.

That said... I'd think I'd start out at $700-800 asking price but be prepared to take less. Lowest that I'd personally sell for may be $450 or so.
I'm no expert, just giving my opinion on it.
Good luck with your sale!

Thanks for your post...some great points! I have the badges but they are bent up and not in great condition. I was thinking about $600. I have a friend that may buy them and I was going to give them a good deal on them If that falls though, I will have to go the dreaded "craigslist" route. It may not cost any commission to sell through craigslist, but man...you have to deal with some annoying crap sometimes, lol

Concerning the wrap, is it a Delmar wrap that you would get from Precision or Jammin Sam? Not sure if it's just the reflections, but the wrap looks like a less expensive version. If so, that would really lessen the value.

Like I mentioned in the original post...I don't expect to get what an all original setup would bring and ask over a grand for it. The wrap is a cheaper version but it looks great in my opinion. So what do you think a good asking price is?
