Hey guys,

Do you know what year Gretsch started doing the little stamped "train track" bead around the center of the metal snares?

The Gretsch catalogs on this site are missing a few years.

It jumps from 61 to 64.

The 4160 in the 61 catalog looks like mine.

The 4160 in the 64 catalog has the little "train track"

I had thought that my drums were from the mid 60's but if this catalog is right then they are a little bit earlier than that.
