Default Who made Tiger Pearl MIJ drums?

What other MIJ names had this Tiger Pearl finish besides Lyra, Whitehall and Star?

Hello Gutenberg
Star is the actual builder of the drum pictured
They used dozens of other badges with as many brand names including "Star" badges. the Lyra drum pictured is Star made also
I can not recall seeing any Whitehall kits in the tiger pearl
I have seen them in the "tiger eye pearl" which is very similar
but not the same as the tiger pearl.
I may be all wet here, but up to this point at least, I have never seen the tiger pearl on anything other than a Star built drum.

Yes, I was in error. That Whitehall finish isn't the same.

Besides Star & Lyra, what other brands/badges had that finish?

My Crest kit (made by Pearl) is Tiger's Eye Pearl.

Hello again Gutenberg
Star Hoshino gakki (pre-Tama) was the stencil drum kit builder
They built some kits using their own name on the badge "Star"
They built identical kits, with dozens of varied name badges, at the behest of the wholesalers, mostly to create the illusion of there being many different brands, as part of a marketing strategy when selling to retailers. Or even sometimes, at the request of certain large retailers. They also built identical kits with no badges at all. Now there were two other major competing builders doing the same thing, at the same time. One was Pearl the other was Hoshino K. There was also a few minor builders also doing the same thing. Yamamoto and Sakae . Now of all the builders I mention here, and to my knowledge thus far, no other builder aside from Star used that particular Tiger pearl finish.
As for what badges, any drum wearing one of the many badges used by Star could possibly be found wrapped in Tiger pearl.

Love that wrap! Classy and cool.
Because it's such a linear design, I wonder if it suffers from the same structural weakness as agate/onyx type wraps that tend to split along the design direction?
