Please help identify these 14" vintage orchestral crashes!
Just scored these interesting 14" cymbals-originally had old wooden handles installed, so I assume they were from a orchestra/marching band of some sort. The Hammering/lathe chatter, and faint bell signature intrigued me, so I pulled the $40 trigger on these. The bell hole(s) are quite small, and there was no visible manufacturer stamp on either cymbal. After eyeballing with a magnifying glass for 10 minutes, I noticed this extremely faded bit of what might have been an ink stamp?

Thanks for the keen eye!
As a result perhaps it may be an old Bellotti pair(?) after looking at some other pictures online, but the lack of any stamping still perplexes me! |
