Default Re: Ludwig hardware now made in china ?

Other than a couple of boutique builders pretty much all the cast parts and hardware for the majors have been sourced from the far east for at least the last couple of decades. Sad but true.

This thread is fuller support for.....ya gotta love VINTAGE!

I am a big MIJ guy.......but VINTAGE MIJ.

Oh----gotta mention.....my Go-to A BD pedal is a new Ludwig Atlas....the standard one.....one of the best pedals I have ever played and there is a reason it has been my go-to pedal for a couple years now. Hint: don't waste your money on the Pro version.....not enough difference at all....and the Standard is just wonderful!

Standard does look like a decent pedal and the price can't be beat, however, i like some of the options the pro has that the standard doesn't, and i don't mind splurging for top of the line when it concerns my physical well being, in this case, my now sensitive, formerly fractured 44 year old foot..
I too have a soft spot for MIJ kits, especially ones with unique wraps !
