Default Identify Bass Pedal
What do y'all think this pedal is? From behind it's clearly a Rogers footboard, but it doesn't look like the uprights belong to a Rogers. My dad, who's in the pictures, says he remembers having a Ludwig that he replaced the footbard on, but it also doesn't look like the uprights belong to a Ludwig, either. From the side it's pretty nondescript.

These are the only two pictures I have.

The footboard looks to me like it was taken from a Rogers Swiv-O-Matic. Can't tell much about the rest of the pedal. It is similar to the attached photo but not the exact same footboard.

Maybe a Ludwig Speed Master pedal with a Rogers one-piece footboard??

Ludwig Speed Master

But I don't know how your dad would have connected the Rogers footboard to the base of a Speed Master.

The footboard does appear to be the Rogers one-piece. I can't make out enough of the frame to really tell what it is. However, given the year of the picture, I wouldn't be surprised if it was the frame from a Ludwig pedal. Without more pictures, we really can't tell.

Perhaps a variation of the Rogers Rocket?

I think the advantage of the Rocket pedal base would be that the connecting rod would be the same as the Swivomatic models. It would then be possible to attach a flat footboard .

The uprights look very wide, do they not? Unless I’m confusing them with something else in the picture, they seem to angle out and then up. Does anyone else see that?
