Default Ricky Cobb Bloodrock drummer

I dragged out Bloodrock 3 and 4 cd's and have been rockin out and Ricky Cobb is/was a damn good drummer. I never saw them live. .I am wondering if any one out there had a chance to see them LIVE. They played with Grand Funk at Winterland and had a chance to go,but I would have been the only NON junkie in the group and didn't want to be around those guys all night--if you catch my drift?? I was told Ricky Cobb had a double bass set-up and the would stand on the drums to sing....
Thanks V

I worked with a band back in the 70's that covered several of their tunes. I liked his simplicity and great feel.
