Wow hard to believe this is still going.. lol the original idea i tried to impart to you folks has been lost way back on page two...anyway some folks got what i meant and others simply wanted to argue.. ok ..

Vintage ole buddy DW does not make their own shells a subbed out company does under the DW name and rogers at least designed their own hardware ! and it is still copied in one form or another to this day so that argument is lame..
The original purpose was simply to point out I am tired of seeing every act today playing those drums and it would be nice to see other drum companies represented and or even more vintage drums played.. end thread !

P.S Vintage i have quite a few drums that are just logs and sticks and hides seems resonable i live on a reservation... peace to you all let this one die now it is bled out and not moving.. LOL

Mike, you have truly so much Misinformation, that this retarded thread is not funny to me anymore, Have you been to the DW factory??? The collector series shells are made in Oxnard CA, just like ludwig makes their High end shells,! you know when rogers was around 60's-70's No one of any note used them!! Ludwig's roster was the Who's who of the drum world not rogers! and the shells that rogers used are Keller's, not their own!! Dw has been in Business since 1972 the original owners still own them and they are the force to be reckoned with since the 90's where's rogers now POS drums that's where, everything you stated Dw did I proved to you with pics of my kit, no hanging toms, no rims mounts, no odd sized drums! it seem Custom drum co. is a hard concept for you to grasp! Once again I've never been on a DRUM FORUM where there is a Bias towards an American Drum Company, genuinely it's not humorous

Hey vintage, i am not trying to argue with you i am just stating my point it is you who seems slighted by all of this again I will state I am tired of seeing DW drum on every stage i play on or go to see.. and thats it.. if you like em buddy play em.. I am not telling you to sell them drums... Rogers at least designed their hardware... and i know they used keller shells so did alot of other companies but that has nothing to do with seeing them all over the place... now lets agree to disagree and play what we like.. OK we are all skin beaters enjoy.... peace brother... It is ok for us all to have different opinions..

Not when you go back pedaling,Genuinely no humor here really!!! you've had more Misinformation here, if your gonna start a retarded thread, you better come with true facts not just your Bias towards a real American Drum Co, I Dispelled every one of yours! Yeah it's totaly OK to have different opinion, but when you so freely throw around Misinformation that's not OK. Mike I'm Really not Joking!! I'm not a Rogers fan, But I've never put them down as to start a thread to do so as you have with DW, I will venomously protest this retared thread!

Ok I have tried to play nice, you say i am misinformed? just how does one get misinformed of his or hers own dislike of a certain subject.. now lets get this straight i have played them ,looked at their hardware, listened to them a ton, and I DO NOT LIKE THEM ! I do not like to see them ,hear them and I could care less where they are made.. clear enough? I think it is great that you do not like Rogers , I think it is great you love DW, OK? because those are your own ideas and thoughts and mine are mine.. iF you can not grasp this idea then i am sorry, and i do not appreciate having you say my thread is retarded, and i find this banter a waste of bandwidth so have the last word I am done.. get it or don't it is up to you.

the Misinformation you try to deny that you've written on this thread is that Dw Doesn't make their own shells, that all Dw's have hanging toms, rims mounts, Odd sizes, I've Dis Proven everyone of them,, And that's fine you don't like a particular drum or the company, But to air it on a DRUM FORUM Is retarded! keep it to yourself! there are those of us that Do like a Particular brand! there are drums That aren't my cup of tea But I've not Posted A thread to do so Like My mother taught Me If you don't have anything positive to add to the subject then don't Interject to it,

... and with that, this thread has indeed run it's course. So without any further ado, and very little fanfare... LOCKED!! Carry on men!
