Thanks for sharing this gem, and all the others you post. The engineering on this one is impressive. I like how the loose ends of the batter snares pass through a felt strip to prevent them from vibrating against the interior of the shell. Lot of thought went into the design of this drum.

Any idea what the retail price was on this in the 1950's. Seems to be a high-end model marketed for the professional concert or orchestral percussionist.

Not re price but I'd say 100-200 1950s USD.
